Center – Day 20 – Restore

restore. Today’s yoga practice was, in Adriene’s words, “powerful palpable peace.” I wish I could send “powerful palpable peace” out into the world. 🤍 “Tyre Nichols remembered as beautiful soul with creative eye” 🤍 <Schedule time with Kim>

Center – Day 18 – Gaze

Gaze. During today’s yoga practice, we engaged our Drishti, or “focused gaze.” Gazing at a focal point can help us balance and draw our attention inward. Center – Day 17 – Move

Move! I expected today’s yoga practice to be intensely active based on the “move” theme and the YouTube thumbnail.

Center – Day 10 – Energy

ENERGY! I was skeptical when Adriene promised that we don’t need to feel like we have the energy to do today’s yoga practice, but she was right. I went into the practice feeling a little depleted, and I came out feeling energized. I was reminded that small shifts in body and mind can make a …

Center – Day 9 – Corazón

Today’s yoga practice was a heart-centering practice, signified by corazón (heart), one of the few words I remember from my high school Spanish classes.
During the practice, I experienced a deep feeling of gratitude for all of the work Adriene and her team put into this yoga series every year, and the way it brings so many of us together in community.
