Today’s yoga practice was a heart-centering practice, signified by corazón (heart), one of the few words I remember from my high school Spanish classes.
During the practice, I experienced a deep feeling of gratitude for all of the work Adriene and her team put into this yoga series every year, and the way it brings so many of us together in community.

Melt.
Today, Adriene nudged us to allow what doesn’t serve us to melt away.
On my yoga mat this morning, I released gripping in my poses, self-judgment about the quality of my practice, and mental angst about some imagined future moment that may or may not ever come to pass.

Flow. Today’s yoga practice focused on letting our movements follow our breath.

Fan. Today’s yoga practice was deceptively challenging for me. I thought it would be a leisurely day, perhaps like the gentle breeze from a fan. It was a shorter practice, and we were lying down rather than standing.
