The Whole-Brain Ecosystem
In my workplace team-building sessions, I use LEGO bricks to integrate the power of the brain’s logical left hemisphere with the creative energy of the right. The brain’s hemispheres are depicted on my vision board with a structured network on the left side and trees and butterflies on the right. When the two sides are integrated, strategy and soul can coexist in harmony.
The Lightbulb: Moving Through the Sheaths
Sitting alongside this mental ecosystem is a layered lightbulb. As a yoga teacher (RYT200), I see this as a representation of the Koshas—the five “sheaths” of our being, from the physical body to the bliss at our center.
In the context of a “Bright” year, the lightbulb at the center of the sheaths reminds me that the “Sunbeam” frequency I’m seeking isn’t something I have to manufacture. It’s already there at the core of my being. My job as the Architect is to move through the layers—tending to the body, the energy, and the mind—until that inner light is finally uncovered.
Do you tend to rely more on logic or creativity? How could you better integrate them in one area of your life?
About Kim: I am an Architect of Possibility, an Executive/Life Coach and Yoga Teacher (RYT200) dedicated to helping people design more intentional, vibrant lives.
