Fan. Today’s yoga practice was deceptively challenging for me. I thought it would be a leisurely day, perhaps like the gentle breeze from a fan. It was a shorter practice, and we were lying down rather than standing.
But it wasn’t about the gentle breeze from a fan; it was about fanning the flames that set your life on fire! It was intense core work that generated some heat. I was grateful that it was a shorter practice.
Adriene shared a poem with us:
Set your life on fire,
– Rumi
seek those who fan your flames.
My word for the year is purpose. I am setting my life on fire (in a good way!) and connecting with people who will help me impactfully shine my light.
